All five Buffs finished the season with rounds in the 70’s to help the No. 12 Milligan University women’s golf team land 10th at the 2021 NAIA Women’s Golf National Championship. Alayna Perryman, the Appalachian Athletic Conference player of the year, led the Buffaloes with a 73 on the final day to finish tied for 16th.

The event is set for Tuesday-Friday, May 25-28, at Rose Creek Golf Course in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

An at-large bid was plenty achievable, but No. 11 Milligan University eliminated the need for such a step by automatically qualifying for the NAIA Women’s Golf National Championship with a victory in the Appalachian Athletic Conference NAIA Direct Qualifier on Tuesday. Alayna Perryman won medalist honors with a 2 under par 71 on day two, winning the individual title by three strokes.

The field featured some of the nation’s best women’s golf programs, including six teams inside or near the top 25, most notably No. 2 Dalton State and No. 7 SCAD Savannah.
