Milligan Athletic Facilities
Milligan University sponsors 28 intercollegiate sports and has a student body consisting of more than 300 student-athletes. Steve Lacy Fieldhouse (pictured above) serves as a central location for many of these athletes, as locker rooms, swimming pool, athletic training room and office space for coaches/administration line the halls of the lower level and the basketball/volleyball court and weight room comprise the upper level.
The Fieldhouse, dedicated on Nov. 25, 1975, is one of many facilities designed to accommodate Milligan's philosophy of lifetime sports. The most recent renovation to the Fieldhouse was the installation of new light fixtures in the summer of 2014.
In the past 10 years, Milligan's teams have utilized Steve Lacy Fieldhouse and other facilities on and off campus to win more than 40 conference titles. Additionally, more than 30 teams have qualified for national tournaments, and over 250 individual national qualifiers have been earned by Milligan student-athletes. The university maintains high standards for its students and has produced numerous All-Americans, All-Conference and Academic All-American athletes.
