Play came to a stop early in the afternoon with the plan to resume round three and complete the tournament with round four on Friday.
The event is taking place at Rose Creek Golf Course.
Simonsen, through 17, and Perryman, through 14, both sit at 1 over par for round three. This has moved both into the top 50, with Perryman now tied for 16th overall. Michaela Lindahl, 6 over through 14, and Meryl Castle, 7 over through 16, moved up to the top 75 individually. Emma Brown remains in the top 100.
Milligan opened the championship with a 305 on day one then a 312 on day two. It helped the Buffaloes make the cut for the second time in program history. They are currently 15 over par for round three but in a cluster of seven teams within six strokes, all behind them on the team leaderboard.
Play is set to continue Friday morning at 7:30 a.m. with the completion of round three followed by round four. Thursday marked the first time Milligan competed post-cut while Friday would represent the first time Milligan competed on the final day of the national championship, as the 2016 season's post-cut portion was canceled due to rain.
