No. 12 Buffs sitting 10th through day one of national championship
Alayna Perryman, Michaela Lindahl and Meryl Castle all carded 75, and the No. 12 Milligan University women’s golf team is 10th overall after round one of the NAIA Women’s Golf National Championship. The event is being held at Rose Creek Golf Course May 25-28.

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. (May 25, 2021) – Alayna Perryman, Michaela Lindahl and Meryl Castle all carded 75, and the No. 12 Milligan University women's golf team is 10th overall after round one of the NAIA Women's Golf National Championship. The event is being held at Rose Creek Golf Course May 25-28.
The Buffs are only seven strokes out of fourth place.
Perryman, the Appalachian Athletic Conference player of the year, Lindahl and Castle are all tied for 28th on the individual leaderboard. Jenny Simonsen is in the top 100 after firing an 80, and Emma Brown is just outside the top 100 after an 81.
Play is set to continue Wednesday.
