The Milligan baseball team finished the season 14-8 (5-1 Appalachian Athletic Conference), coming up five wins shy of last season’s win total despite the shortened schedule. At 5-1 in the league, the Buffs were even with No. 23 Reinhardt University for the top spot, ahead of No. 5 Tennessee Wesleyan and No. 16 Bryan.

The Milligan College baseball team finished their Appalachian Athletic Conference three-game series opener against St. Andrews University Sunday afternoon and completed the series with a 7-2 win in game one of the doubleheader and a 4-1 win in game two.

Brock Browning pitched his second complete game Saturday afternoon in Johnson City to help lift the Milligan College baseball team to a 3-2 victory in game one of the three game series against Shawnee State, but despite a seventh inning comeback that saw four back-to-back hits by the Buffs, the Bears picked up their first win of the season on a 7-4 win in game two.

Twice the Milligan College baseball team bounced back from a deficit to tie, but twice the Buffaloes lost at No. 11 University of the Cumberlands Monday afternoon on the road. Cumberlands won the first game 2-1 in 10 innings before winning the second game 3-2, both via walk-off.

Garrett Goldberg drove in the game winning run in the first game before scoring the game winning run in the second game as the Milligan College baseball team won two times in thrilling fashion Sunday evening at TVA Credit Union Ballpark. Milligan defeated Thomas More University 6-5 then University of Rio Grande 4-3 in eight innings, both via walk-off.
