Kearney Notches Back-to-Back AAC Women's XC Runner of the Week Honors

WALESKA, Ga. - On Monday, the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) revealed the conference's WOmen's Cross Country Runner of the Week. Yet again, Ellen-Mary Kearney was bestowed the honor, as she helped lead the Milligan women to a perfect score at the Brevard XC Classic.

Kearney's 17:44.4 was good for the event title, and just outpaced a pair of her outstanding teammates in the final stretch to earn the individual win. As a result of her run, she assisted the squad to a team championship at the meet, as well.

After a weekend off, Kearney and her teammates will be back on the course on Oct. 4 at the ECU Pirate Invitational in Greenville, N.C.
