LEXINGTON, Ky. - On Friday, the American Volleyball Coaches Association named their 2024 All-Region teams. Milligan University, a member of the Northeast Region, had two members of their squad earn plaudits from the AVCA as All-Northeast Region First-Team honorees. Senior middle blocker Ella Maiden and junior outside hitter Shelby Miller were recognized by the association for their incredible seasons.

Maiden had 307 kills during the campaign, and attacked at .419 for the year, which led the squad. She added 96 blocks defensively, which was the best total for a Milligan front-row player this season. It is the third straight season that Maiden has been awarded All-Northeast Region First-Team honors.

Miller is a first-time honoree on the AVCA All-Northeast Region First Team, and had a breakout season in 2024. She was listed atop the roster in kills for the Buffs this year with 392 on a stellar .246 attacking percentage from the outside pin.
