Milligan Volleyball has Four Student-Athletes Named to WinWon All-AAC Teams
WALESKA, Ga. - The Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) unveiled their 2024 WinWon All-AAC Women's Volleyball Teams and All-Academic honorees on Wednesday afternoon. Milligan University had a quartet of athletes recognized, with three earning All-AAC First Team honors and one snagging Second Team plaudits. Additionally, eight of the squad's 15 members earned All-Academic recognition.
Milligan's three All-AAC First team performers were Kolbie Greene, Ella Maiden and Shelby Miller, while Avery Maiden was recognized with the conference's Second Team.
Greene has been wildly impressive this season, amassing 956 assists so far with 9.02 assists/set. She has been All-AAC First Team in each of the last three seasons, and earned Setter of the Year honors in 2023. E. Maiden has 275 kills to this point in the campaign, and has attacked at .415 for the year, which leads the team by a wide margin. She has been All-AAC First Team each of the last four years, and was on the All-Freshman team in 2021. Miller leads the team in kills with 354 on a strong .241 hitting percentage. She had earned Second Team accolades in each of the last two years and was on the All-Freshman Team in 2021.
A. Maiden followed up a strong freshman year in 2023 with a All-AAC Second Team showing in 2024. She has 296 kills on a .175 attacking clip, which puts her second on the team in terminations.

The AAC also recognizes a Champions of Character Team each season, on which Greene was recognized.
