Kolbie Greene tabbed as AAC Setter of the Week

WALESKA, Ga. (November 6, 2023) – Milligan University junior Kolbie Greene was honored as the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Setter of the Week for the fourth time this season on Monday afternoon.
Milligan went 2-0 in the final week of the regular season to finish with a 25-6 overall record and a 19-2 mark in AAC play. The victories over Tennessee Wesleyan and Bluefield ran the Buffs' win streak to 14 games, matching the team record set in 2018. Milligan's conference winning percentage of .905 is the highest in program history.
Greene totaled 72 assists across seven sets (10.29 assists per set) last week. She posted assists-digs double-doubles in both matches as she had 35 assists and 21 digs at TWU and 37 assists and 12 digs verses Bluefield.
Greene finished the regular season as the AAC's assists leader (1,021) and ranked third in the conference with 9.72 assists per set. Her 3.21 digs per set led all setters and ranked 15th in the conference.
She was the only player in the AAC to earn AAC Setter of the Week honors four times this season.
The Buffs own the No. 2 seed in the AAC Tournament and take on the winner of No. 7 Bluefield and No. 10 Union in the quarterfinal round of the conference tournament on Friday.
