Volleyball downs Pikeville 3-0
MILLIGAN, Tenn. (September 12, 2023) – The Milligan University volleyball team cruised to a 3-0 victory over Pikeville in Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) action in the Steve Lacy Fieldhouse on Tuesday.

MILLIGAN, Tenn. (September 12, 2023) – The Milligan University volleyball team cruised to a 3-0 victory over Pikeville in Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) action in the Steve Lacy Fieldhouse on Tuesday.
The Buffs move to 8-4 on the season and 2-0 in AAC play. Pikeville falls to 4-2, 1-2 AAC.
The Buffs won in straight sets 25-17, 25-12, 25-14. Milligan used a 13-3 run to take control of the first set and an 11-0 spurt to control the set. Pikeville took its first lead of the match at 2-1 in the third set before Milligan stormed back to win the final set by a dozen.
Avery Maiden tallied 10 kills on 15 swings. Shelby Miller added 10 kills. Ella Maiden had eight kills. Greyson Stevens had five spikes.
Kolbie Greene notched 28 assists. Zoie Larkins had 10 digs.
Milligan travels to St. Andrews on Saturday for a 1:00 p.m. conference matchup.
