Volleyball sweeps TWU on senior night

The Buffs close the regular season with an 18-12 record and 13-7 mark in Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) play. TWU concludes its year at 1-28, 0-21 AAC.
The Buffs won 25-19, 25-17, 25-10 to secure a fifth-place finish in the AAC standings.
Milligan racked up 47 kills on a .420 hitting percentage. The Buffs notched at least 15 kills in each set, hitting .367 or better in every frame.
Ella Maiden had 11 kills and three blocks. Shelby Miller had 10 kills and Greyson Stevens had nine kills on 11 swings. Kolbie Greene had 43 assists in the match, a three-set career high.
Sarah Grace Larkey and Paxton Adkins were honored before the match, along with senior statisticians Lauren Petty and Hannah Daniel. Larkey posted eight kills and two aces. Adkins recorded seven digs.
With Milligan's top-five league finish, the Buffs advance to the AAC Tournament quarterfinals next Friday at the Meadowview Marriot Resort & Conference Center in Kingsport, Tenn.
