Program records fall at Raleigh Relays
RALEIGH, N.C. (March 30, 2024) - Milligan University men's and women's track teams recorded some stellar performances at the Raleigh Relays this weekend.
RALEIGH, N.C. (March 30, 2024) - Milligan University men's and women's track teams recorded some stellar performances at the Raleigh Relays this weekend.
North Carolina State University hosted the relays, which began Thursday and concluded Saturday.
The field was packed with a lot of NCAA Division I competition, and the Buffs rose to the occasion.
Aaron Jones and Bryn Woodall recorded personal bests and set program records in their respective events.
Jones posted a time of 29:47.64 in the 10,000, which ranks as the second-fastest time in the NAIA this season and is a school record.
In the 1500, Woodall set a personal best and program record with a time of 3:47.93. Woodall continues to own the second-fastest time in the NAIA in the event. Will Stockley also ran the 1500 and logged the second-fastest time of his career, crossing the line in 3:49.46. He ranks third in the NAIA in the event.
Also competing at the relays were:
- Keith Fletcher - 110 hurdles (14.88 seconds)
- Skylan Stephens - 400 (50.51 seconds)
- Caitlin Dominy - 5000 (17:37.79)
Milligan returns to action on Friday and Saturday (April 5-6) at the Tennessee Invite in Knoxville, Tenn.
