Women’s Tennis drops fall match to Tusculum 6-1

MILLIGAN, Tenn. (October 15, 2022) – The Milligan University women's tennis team dropped a nonconference fall tennis match 6-1 to Tusculum at the Mathes Tennis Center on Saturday.

Sophie Dunman and Tiana Shelton combined for a 6-1 win at third doubles, but the Pioneers took wins at the top two doubles sets.

Shelton scored Milligan's lone singles point as she triumphed 6-0, 6-0 at sixth singles. Kaitlin Barrett went to a super tiebreaker at No. 1 singles but fell 6-3, 4-6, 10-6.

The Buffs return to action on Oct. 29 with a homecoming Pro/Am exhibition.
