Women’s Tennis picks up 7-0 win at Emory & Henry

EMORY, Va. (September 19, 2021) – The Milligan University women's tennis team defeated Emory & Henry 7-0 in Virginia on Sunday.

Milligan's women took two of three doubles matchups and swept singles play one-through-six at E&H.

Kaitlin Barrett and Sophie Dunman teamed to earn a 6-1 win at No. 1 singles. Barrett snagged a 6-2, 6-0 win at No. 1 singles while Dunman earned a 6-4, 7-6 victory at No. 2 singles.

Makenna Peterson and Katie Warf picked up a 6-1 victory at No. 3 doubles.

Macy Kennedy took care of business at No. 3 singles 6-1, 6-1. Kylie Enarson won No. 4 singles 6-0, 6-1, Karson Light notched point at No. 5 singles 6-2, 6-3 and Hannah Nelson closed out a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 6 singles.

The Buffs return to action at Brevard on Oct. 3.
