The Milligan College women’s tennis team faced reigning Appalachian Athletic Conference regular season and tournament winner, Brenau, and lost 6-1 on Friday at Mathes Tennis Center.

MILLIGAN COLLEGE, Tenn. (Sept. 13, 2019) – The Milligan College women's tennis team faced reigning Appalachian Athletic Conference regular season and tournament winner, Brenau, and lost 6-1 on Friday at Mathes Tennis Center.

Brenau enters the season ranked No. 8 in NAIA voting polls. Last year the Golden Tigers made it to the national tournament before falling in the quarterfinals.

Rachel Dove was the only Buff to walk away victorious today winning her match 6-2, 6-2. This is Dove's second collegiate win.

Up next, the Buffs will travel to UVA Wise in a nonconference match on Sunday, Oct. 6. After that they will only have three matches left of their fall schedule before their spring season begins in February.
