Halloran picks up third AAC weekly award
For the third time this season, Milligan College swimmer Maggie Halloran picked up her third Appalachian Athletic Conference Swimmer of the Week award. The AAC made the announcement Monday for the week ending Nov. 17.
MILLIGAN COLLEGE, Tenn. (Nov. 18, 2019) – For the third time this season, Milligan College swimmer Maggie Halloran picked up her third Appalachian Athletic Conference Swimmer of the Week award. The AAC made the announcement Monday for the week ending Nov. 17.
Halloran, a five-time All-American, swam four times and won all four times this past week against Randolph College, leading the Buffaloes to a 170-30 victory. She earned two national cuts in both of her individual events, including an A cut in the 1500 freestyle, which she won by almost a five-minute margin.
The Buffs next meet will be Dec. 7-8 at the Transylvania Invitational at the University of Kentucky. After that the Buffs will dive back into the pool on Jan. 25 for the Milligan College Invitational.
