Buffaloes Women's Soccer Boasts Three All-AAC Honorees and 19 Academic Plaudits
WALESKA, Ga. - The Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) revealed their 2024 women's soccer All-AAC and Academic All-AAC teams on Thursday evening. The Milligan University women's soccer program produced three All-AAC selections and a conference-best 19 Academic All-AAC honorees.
The Buffs' All-AAC plaudits went to Lauren Hawkley (All-AAC First Team), Natalie Roper (All-AAC Second Team) and Amber McCleskey (All-AAC Second Team).
Hawkley had 22 points this season, with nine goals and four assists to her name, leading the team in goals scored and tying for the highest number of assists. Roper had five goals on the year and also provided four assists for a total of 14 points, which was second most on the squad. McCleskey had a stellar freshman season as the squad's center back. She scored one goal and had one assist on the year. She also helped produce a goals allowed average of 1.69 on the campaign for Milligan.
