Women’s Soccer season ends in AAC quarterfinals at No. 18 Truett McConnell
CLEVELAND, Ga. (November 5, 2022) – The Milligan University women’s soccer team was defeated 3-0 in the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) tournament quarterfinals by top-seeded No. 18 Truett McConnell on Saturday afternoon.

CLEVELAND, Ga. (November 5, 2022) – The Milligan University women's soccer team was defeated 3-0 in the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) tournament quarterfinals by top-seeded No. 18 Truett McConnell on Saturday afternoon.
The Buffs close the season with a 5-9-4 record while Truett McConnell advances to the semifinals with a 15-2-1 record.
TMU scored in the 19th minute an carried a 1-0 lead into halftime. The Bears added goals in the 50th and 69th minutes to reach the final 3-0 margin.
McKinna Murr recorded a shot on goal in the 41st minute and Hannah Chatterton another in the 65th.
Lauren Davies made 11 saves in the defeat. TMU outshot the Buffs 33-2 and recorded all 11 corner kicks on the day.
