BARBOURVILLE, Ky. (September 14, 2022) – The Milligan University women's soccer team dropped an Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) contest at Union 2-1 on Wednesday evening.
Union (1-3, 1-1 AAC) opened the scoring with a goal off a corner kick in the 24th minute and carried a 1-0 lead into the half despite both teams recording just three shots apiece over the first 45 minutes.
Milligan (1-3, 0-2) found an equalizer in the 74th minutes as the Buffs quickly transitioned from end-to-end, culminating with Ella Sawa finding Kelsey Miller up the right sideline.
