Women’s Soccer defeats Kentucky Christian on the road 3-0
GRAYSON, Ky. (September 22, 2021) – The Milligan University women’s soccer team went on the road to face off against Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) conference opponent Kentucky Christian on Wednesday. Three different goal scorers found the back of the net for the Buffs in a 3-0 victory.

GRAYSON, Ky. (September 22, 2021) – The Milligan University women's soccer team went on the road to face off against Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) conference opponent Kentucky Christian on Wednesday. Three different goal scorers found the back of the net for the Buffs in a 3-0 victory.
Milligan moves to 3-3 (2-2 AAC) picking up the win today while Kentucky Christian drops to 0-7 (0-3 AAC) on the season.
Senior Ellie Cachiaras got things started for Milligan scoring in the 24th minute coming off an assist from freshman Autumn Daniels.
Autumn Daniels scored the second goal in the first half for the Buffs from an assist from sophomore Alia Figueredo.
Rounding out the scoring for the day was Alex Thomas, who was able to knock down her first goal of the season in Wednesday's matchup on a long-range free kick into the upper left corner of the goal.
Junior goalkeeper Lauren Davies posted a clean sheet with six saves marking her third win of the year.
Women's soccer will be on the road again facing off against AAC rival Montreat this Saturday at 3:00 p.m.
