MILLIGAN, Tenn. (September 10, 2021) - The Milligan University women's soccer team fell to Tennessee Wesleyan 3-0 in the Buffs' Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) opener at Anglin Field on Friday afternoon.
The Buffs fall to 1-2 on the season, 0-1 in AAC play while TWU rises to 4-1, 1-0 AAC.

Despite both teams recording eight shots in the first half, TWU held a 2-0 advantage.
TWU added an insurance goal in the 74th minute to go ahead 3-0.
In the 88th minute, Ella Sawa nearly headed in the Buffs' first goal of the contest off a corner from Audra Morgan, but a well-positioned TWU defender kept the Buffs off the scoreboard.
