Milligan Women’s Soccer scores 5 goals en-route to season opening victory over Warren Wilson
Milligan, Tenn. (August 28, 2021) - The Milligan University women's soccer team kicked off the 2021 season with a dominant 5-0 victory over Warren Wilson College on Saturday afternoon.

Milligan, Tenn. (August 28, 2021) - The Milligan University women's soccer team kicked off the 2021 season with a dominant 5-0 victory over Warren Wilson College on Saturday afternoon.
The Buffs dominated possession and found the back of the net five times with five different goal scorers.
Danielle Calhoun started the scoring for Milligan in the sixth minute off a nifty pass from Ellie Cachiaras. The hot first half continued for the Buffs as they added two more goals in the first half by Cachiaras and Autumn Daniels.
Scoring goals in the second half for the Buffs were Sydney Locke (56:34) and Jules Roska (65:43).
Milligan dominated the shot category today out shooting Warren Wilson 30-2.
Cachiaras had a big day for Milligan, assisting on two of the five goals and scoring one of her own. The Buffs were sharp defensively and played all three of their goal keepers in the game.
Milligan women's soccer returns to action on Wednesday taking on Pikeville for their first road game of the 2021 season.
