Burch earns AAC weekly nod

MILLIGAN, Tenn. (March 15, 2021) – Milligan University women's soccer player Ashlen Burch has been named Appalachian Athletic Conference player of the week for the week ending March 14, announced the AAC office Monday afternoon.

This marks the third time in her career Burch has won the AAC weekly honor after winning it once each of the last three seasons.

Burch, who normally would be in the offseason this spring, earned the honor after she helped Milligan defeat Warren Wilson 6-0 in the team's spring opener. She scored a hat trick in a span of 10 minutes in the second half, bringing her season goal tally to five.

Burch and the Buffs next will be in action on Saturday for a home game against CIU in the team's final home game of the year.
