Cundiff, Buffs blank Kentucky Christian
Senior Bekah Cundiff recorded her second hat trick of the season and the Milligan College women’s soccer team defeated Appalachian Athletic Conference newcomer Kentucky Christian University 4-0 Wednesday afternoon.

GRAYSON, Ky. (Oct. 23, 2019) – Senior Bekah Cundiff recorded her second hat trick of the season and the Milligan College women's soccer team defeated Appalachian Athletic Conference newcomer Kentucky Christian University 4-0 Wednesday afternoon.
Cundiff scored her first goal in the first six minutes of the first half to put the Buffs up 1-0 going into halftime. In the second half Cundiff tallied on three more goals in the 55th, 63rd, and 75th minutes to perfect the hat trick.
Milligan outshot KCU 31-1 with 16 shots being on frame. The Buffs forced the Knights goalkeeper Alyssa Pack to make 11 saves. Milligan goalkeeper Lauren Davies only had to make one save.
With tonight's win Milligan advanced to 9-2-1 in the AAC and head coach Lisa Buckley picked up her 100th career win.
Up next, Milligan finishes the regular season schedule with a home match Saturday, Oct. 26, against Bryan College, which will also be senior day. Kick-off is set for 5 p.m. with the men to follow. After that the Buffs will begin AAC tournament competition. Milligan is currently in third place in the AAC standings and are set up to host at least the first round of conference tournament play.
