WALESKA, Ga. - The Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) revealed the winner of the AAC Women's Golfer of the Week on Monday afternoon. The honoree was none other than Milligan's Kate Castle, who won two out of three head-to-head matchups this week at the Gibson Bay Match Play event, where she earned victories against counterparts from No. 17-ranked Truett McConnell and No. 9 Dalton State.

Castle's efforts helped lead the Buffaloes to a pair of wins as a team against ranked squads No. 17 TMU and No. 9 DSC.

It is Castle's second time this season being honored by the conference as Golfer of the Week.
