Castle Earns All-American Third Team Status for Milligan Women’s Golf
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced the three 2023-24 Women's Golf NAIA All-America teams, presented by Perfect Hands Golf, last week. As a part of the 45-golfer list, Kate Castle was named to the NAIA All-America Third Team.
"There couldn't be anyone more deserving of this accomplishment than Kate," opined Milligan head golf coach, Tony Wallingford. "She works hard at her game, is always striving to be better, and is so humble about her achievements. I am excited knowing we have her with us another season."
The Junior from, Mt. Juliet, Tenn. was a catalyst for the Buffs this season, helping her squad finish 14th in the nation at the NAIA Women's Golf National Championships. It is the second straight year that she was named an All-American, having been placed on the Second Team in 2022-23. She is the first two-time All-American in program history.
