SILVIS, Ill. (May 18, 2024) - Milligan University women's golf finished 14th at the 2024 NAIA Women's Golf National Championship this week.
The four-day tournament was played at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Ill.
Milligan was one of three Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) teams to compete at nationals but was the only squad to make the cut after the first two rounds as only the top-15 teams advanced.
The Buffaloes recorded a 129-over 1281 to finish 14th, one stroke back of 13th-placed Loyola University (La.).
Kate Castle led the team as she shot 28-over 316 to tie for 39th, while Gabby Hammond tied for 41st at 29-over 317. Sarah Castle finished tied for 61st at 37-over 325. Mallory TeVrucht and Bailey McGaha placed 65th and 73rd, respectively.
