Women's Golf makes the cut at NAIA National Championship

SILVIS, Ill. (May 15, 2024) - Milligan University women's golf is still in the hunt for the red banner at the NAIA Women's Golf National Championship.
The four-day tournament is being held at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Ill.
The Buffs fired 322 during the second round to finish at 64-over 640 after the first two days. That score places Milligan 13th, which allows it to make the cut and play the final two rounds of the national championship. The top 15 teams after the first two rounds advance to the third and fourth rounds.
Milligan is the lone Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) team to make the cut.
Kate Castle continues to occupy a top-10 spot as she is tied for eighth at 8-over 152. Gabby Hammond is tied for 53rd at 16-over 160 with Sarah Castle sitting tied for 79th at 20-over 164.
Milligan will tee off the third round at 9:40 am ET on Thursday.
