SILVIS, Ill. (May 14, 2024) - Milligan University women's golf is off to a strong start at the 2024 NAIA Women's Golf National Championship as it sits tied for sixth following one round of play on Tuesday.
SILVIS, Ill. (May 14, 2024) - Milligan University women's golf is off to a strong start at the 2024 NAIA Women's Golf National Championship as it sits tied for sixth following one round of play on Tuesday.
The four-day tournament is being held at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Ill.
Milligan compiled a team score of 30-over 318 to sit tied for sixth. British Columbia leads the field at 17-over 305 with Cumberlands (Ky.) three strokes behind in second.
Individually, Kate Castle is tied for first overall with a 2-over 74. Gabby Hammonds and Mallory TeVrucht are tied for 55th at 9-over 81, and Sarah Castle shot a 10-over 82 to put in a tie for 71st.
Milligan will tee off for the second round at 8:20 am ET on Wednesday.
