Perryman and Griggs lead Agnes McAmis Memorial after round one
CHUCKEY, Tenn. (March 21, 2022) – Th No. 14 Milligan University women’s golf team sits in second place out of nine teams through the first round of the Agnes McAmis Memorial at the Graysburg Hills Golf Club on Monday.

Milligan turned in a team score of 307 strokes, two strokes behind hosts and leaders Tusculum. The Buffs are 10 strokes ahead of third-place Midway.
Milligan's Alayna Perryman and Izzy Griggs tied for the tournament lead after the first day. Both players posted a one-over 73 to lead the 47-player field. Perryman notched 14 pars on the day while Griggs used an Eagle on 15 to shoot even par over the back nine.
Sarah Castle also sits top-five after the first round as her 76 is good for fifth.
Kate Castle, Meryl Castle and Gracie Johns tied for 15th as each player recorded a 79. Emma Brown and Gabby Hammond were both top-25 with 82 apiece.
