Milligan Women's Bowling Named as Part of 12-Team Field for NAIA National Championships
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Milligan University's women's bowling squad earned their ticket to the NAIA National Championships on Monday, the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced. Six of the tournament's participants were determined through conference championships and the other six were named via at-large berths.
Milligan's squad will be making their third straight appearance in the tournament, and earned an at-large bid to the event after their runner-up finish at the Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) Championships.
The championship in Sterling Heights, Mich. at 5 Star Lanes opens with baker play, deciding seeding on Thursday, Mar. 20. Once seeded, brackets will be announced and teams will compete through a double-elimination bracket, Mar. 21-22, that will crown the 2025 NAIA Women's Bowling National Champion.
