Emily Cheesman tabbed as SSAC Bowler of the Week

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (December 27, 2023) – Milligan University sophomore Emily Cheesman was honored as the Southern State Athletic Conference (SSAC) Bowler of the Week for her performance in a pair of Tier 1 tournaments last week.

Cheesman finished 13th at both the Lehigh Valley Collegiate Classic and the Roto Grip Keystone Classic in Pennsylvania. She averaged 188.4 pins in the Lehigh Valley Collegiate Classic and 184.6 pins at the Roto Grip Keystone Classic.

Milligan notched a runner-up team finish at the Roto Grip Keystone Classic, the Buffs top Tier 1 finish of the season.

Cheesman is a three-time conference bowler of the week.

Milligan bowling returns to action at the Mid-South Conference Lynee Jordan Memorial on Jan. 20.
