The Buffs finished second with a total of 7,291 pins across five individual team games and 16 bakers games at the tournament. Webber International took the six team tournament title with 7,720 pins.
"I would say that our spare game wasn't the strongest I've seen it this year but we were still good enough to walk away with second place for the third time this season and place all five ladies in the top 17," said head coach Brian Rickert. "It's only a matter of time before these ladies walk away with the top spot."
Taylor Davis secured all-tournament honors with a fifth-place individual finish. She notched two games over 200 on her way to a 945 total and 189 average. Her high game of 218 came in game three.
"I am so proud of Taylor Davis and the hard work she has been putting in every day at practice and outside of practice," said head coach Brian Rickert. "I told her this week at one of our practice sessions that her swing was looking the best it's ever been and that she was due for a strong showing soon. She definitely performed awesomely this weekend on a very tough pattern."
Elizabeth Coutta and Laci MacQuisten joined Davis in the top 10. Coutta was eighth with 926 total pins (185.2 average) and a high of 213. MacQuisten recorded 920 pins (184 average) with two games over 200.
