AAC Releases Women's Basketball All-Conference Teams and All-Academic Honorees

Milligan University had several players recognized to the All-AAC teams on Tuesday night, while head coach Kylie Greer was recognized as the Coach of the Year

WALESKA, Ga. - On Tuesday evening, the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) unveiled their 2024-25 Women's Basketball All-AAC teams and Academic All-AAC honorees. Milligan had three of their players recognized as All-AAC this season, with the trio all nabbing first-team honors. Additionally, they tied for the highest number of academic honorees in the conference, with 15. To boot, Kylie Greer earned Coach of the Year recognition for the first time in her career.

The trio of Jaycie Jenkins, Semaj Clark and Lauren Longmire were awarded All-AAC First-Team plaudits, while Clark and Longmire also were named to the All-Defensive Team, made up of the top 10 defenders in the conference.

Jenkins has had an incredible season, averaging 20.2 points per contest this season. She carries a 55.8% clip from the field and has shot the three at 47.6%, which is fifth in the NAIA among qualifying shooters. During this season, Jenkins reached 2,000 points for her career, as she has had a sustained amount of success. She led the team in rebounding, as well, hauling in 7.3 per game this season. She was a major part of the team's run to the AAC Co-Championship and the No. 1 seed in the upcoming AAC Tournament.

Clark is second on the squad in scoring, averaging 15.4 points per game. She has also supplied 100 assists on the year, putting her at 3.6 per battle. Her 2.1 steals per game tally has amounted to 59 thefts on the year. Her two-way prowess has made her more than deserving of All-AAC First-Team status, as well as All-Defensive Team honors.

Longmire's 13.9 points per game mark was third on the team and 16^th in the conference this season. She led the team with 3.9 assists per game, tallying 110 for the campaign, while also averaging 4.4 rebounds. She put together a strong defensive season, as well, reeling in 45 steals for a 1.6 per game mark, as well as 10 blocked shots on the year to help her earn All-AAC First-Team and All-Defensive Team plaudits.
