Lady Buffs Basketball Receives Votes in Fifth 2024-25 NAIA Coaches Top 25 Poll
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - On Wednesday, the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) unveiled the 2024-25 NAIA Women's Basketball Coaches Top 25 Poll - No. 5. The poll included the Milligan University women's basketball squad, who earned 20 votes, and are the lone Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) institution listed for the second straight release.
Since the reveal of the last poll, the Buffaloes have stampeded to a 4-0 record in that span with a revenge win over Pikeville (82-78) and three double-digit triumphs over CIU (103-63), Bluefield (91-51) and Union Commonwealth (85-69). They have averaged 90.3 points per contest in those games, and have now won 12 of their last 13 contests overall, and 11 in a row in Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) play.
The Buffs continue their campaign tonight against Montreat College inside Steve Lacy Fieldhouse, which will be the lone meeting between the two squads this regular season.
