Jenkins Selected as AAC WinWon Women's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week

Jaycie Jenkins earned WinWon AAC Offensive Player of the Week honors for the first time this season after a 25.5 point/game average across two wins over nationally recognized opponents

WALESKA, Ga. - The Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) announced that Jaycie Jenkins has won the WinWon AAC Women's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week honors for Dec. 30-Jan. 5 for her efforts across a pair of triumphs for Milligan women's basketball.

Jenkins averaged 25.5 points per contest and tallied a 19-of-34 conversion rate on her shots in wins over No. 7-ranked University of the Cumberlands and (RV) Johnson University. In the 90-89 overtime win at Cumberlands, Jenkins eclipsed the 2,000-point mark in her career with 22 points on the day. Then, she scored 29 to lead the Buffaloes to a 107-85 rout of the Royals of Johnson in conference play at home.

This is Jenkins' first time in 2024-25 being named as a Player of the Week by the AAC.
