Women's Basketball falls at Division II Alabama Huntsville
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (November 29, 2021)— The Milligan University women’s basketball team fell to NCAA Division II University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) 95-66 in an exhibition matchup on Monday evening.

The Buffs are now 7-4 (7-0 AAC) overall for the season while UAH picks up their first win of the season and move to 1-4 on the year.
Milligan was without Appalachian Athletic Conference's (AAC) leading scorer Jaycie Jenkins for Monday's matchup with UAH. The Buffs struggled to find a groove offensively without Jenkins and only led once going up 2-0 to begin the game.
Lauren Longmire was the primary source for the Buffalo offense scoring a career-high 23 points. Halie Padgett also scored in double figures with 12 points.
UAH outscored the Buffs 56-31 in the first half and 39-35 in the second.
The Chargers shot 62.7 percent from the field and turned 20 Milligan turnovers into 30 points. Five different players scored in double figures for UAH.
Milligan returns to AAC play Wednesday evening at CIU.
