Buffs drop AAC matchup to No. 14 Bryan

DAYTON, Tenn. (Feb. 19, 2020) – Kaely Gose tallied her 13th double-double of the season with 18 points and 10 rebounds while Halie Padgett registered 11 and nine in those categories, but the Milligan College women's basketball team lost to No. 14 Bryan College, 88-66, Wednesday night in the final road game of the regular season.
Gose scored double digit points for the 14th straight game.
Milligan trailed the entire game as Bryan built a 10-point lead at the end of the first quarter and led by 18 at the halftime break.
After Gose, Lily Griffith came next in the scoring column with 13 points and four rebounds. Hannah Wyrick scored eight points and added six assists, and Bailey Berry and Chloe Powers scored five points apiece.
Up next, Milligan closes out the regular season at home Saturday against St. Andrews University. The Buffs will play at 2 p.m. and honor their seniors postgame. After that, Milligan heads to the Appalachian Athletic Conference tournament next week at the MeadowView Conference Resort and Convention Center in Kingsport.
