Men's Volleyball enjoys 2022 season

MILLIGAN, Tenn. (May 11, 2022) - The Milligan University Men's Volleyball team enjoyed a successful season in its eighth year.

The Buffs had a pair of new coaches roaming the sidelines in Ryan Goines and Nathan Gibson. Gomes spent three seasons as a member of the team and graduated from Milligan's Master of Counseling program and currently serves as a school counselor at Science Hill. Gibson was Milligan's first men's volleyball recruit and was a four-year starter during his time at Milligan. He graduated with a business degree in 2017.

After an 0-4 start, Milligan went 9-8 the rest of the way with victories over over Emory & Henry, Appalachian State, and University of Tennessee. The Buffs enjoyed their best finish at the University of Tennessee spring tournament, as the team finished as the Bud Field's Classic runner up after going 6-1 on the day.

Milligan wrapped up our season and celebrated its three-man senior class with a win over Appalachian State on March 13.
