MILLIGAN COLLEGE, Tenn. (May 8, 2015) – Hunter Thomas of Chilhowie High School in Chilhowie, Virginia, has added his name to the roster of the Milligan College men's volleyball team for the 2015-16 season.
Thomas is a 6-foot defensive specialist while on the court, but what gives him edge is his two-fold background of experience with volleyball.
Not only did he play in number of local leagues during his time in high school, but he also served as manager for the women's volleyball team for four years. This experience provides him with a "big picture" understanding of the game, and when added to his skill as a player, he will make for a strong addition to the Buffs in the upcoming year.
Thomas, son of Johnny and Teresa Thomas, intends to major in HPXS while at Milligan, looking to one day use that knowledge as a PE teacher.
