Men's volleyball continues season with loss to UT
The Milligan men's volleyball team continued the spring season with a loss to the University of Tennessee's club team Wednesday night inside Steve Lacy Fieldhouse. UT won all three official games, 25-11, 25-14, 25-20, although the two teams competed a little longer, playing extra points for the work and fun, and to let fans see some more action.
Hobie Vannoy finished the match with 16 assists and a kill on his only attack attempt. Joshua Foote registered the high in kills with six, while Nathan Gibson and Teddy Hesterman recorded four and three, respectively. Hesterman and Andrew Simonsen led the defensive effort with seven digs.
Milligan will continue the season with another home match on Wednesday, April 1, against Bryan College. The match is set to begin at 6:30 p.m. and will be the final home date before the Buffs finish the season with a home round-robin formatted tournament on April 17.
