Men's volleyball falls in three to Bryan
An energetic crowd came out to support the Milligan College men's volleyball team Thursday night in the team's final home match of the season, but the Buffaloes were beaten by Bryan College by scores of 25-20, 29-27, 25-16.

MILLIGAN COLLEGE, Tenn. (March 6, 2014) – An energetic crowd came out to support the Milligan College men's volleyball team Thursday night in the team's final home match of the season, but the Buffaloes were beaten by Bryan College by scores of 25-20, 29-27, 25-16.
After dropping the opening game 25-20, Milligan looked to be in control of the second game with a 23-18 lead. Bryan rallied, though, with five straight points to tie before pulling away and winning on the 56th rally of the game.
Milligan setter Hobie Vannoy tallied 23 assists, three digs and was part of four blocks. As a team, the Buffs recorded 18 assisted blocks. Outside hitter Tony Miner, the team's kills leader, had 12 kills. Bryce Buckland finished with eight kills on 19 chances for a .316 hitting percentage.
Milligan will be on the road Saturday, March 8 for a tournament at the University of Tennessee. The Buffaloes will face Bryan one more time this season, on Saturday, March 22 in Dayton, Tenn.
