WALESKA, Ga. - Milligan University men's outdoor track athlete, Luis Peralta, was named the Appalachian Athletic Conference Men's Track Athlete of the Week on Monday after his impressive run in the 800m at the Raleigh Relays on Mar. 29. It is Peralta's second AOTW honor of the outdoor season in as many weeks.

Peralta's 1:49.26 mark in the 800m placed him ninth out of 160 runners at the Raleigh Relays, hosted by North Carolina State University. He now holds the NAIA's top time in the 800m this season and reached an "A" standard for nationals at the end of the year.
