Buffaloes Track & Field Wraps up Weekend at Raleigh Relays, Peralta Posts Season-Best in 800m
RALEIGH, N.C. – Saturday's schedule for the Milligan University track program included the women's and men's 800m at the Raleigh Relays, hosted by NC State. Ellen-Mary Kearney, Sylas Chambers, Luis Peralta and Bryn Woodall were included in those races for the Buffaloes.
Kearney came away as the 73rd-place runner with a time of 2:12.07 in the women's race.
Peralta was the big story for the Buffs, posting a season-best 1:49.26 mark to place ninth as an individual. Chambers placed 91st, clocking in at 1:53.07, while Woodall's time of 1:54.18 placed him 116th out of 160 finishers.
Next weekend, Apr. 4-5, the squads will similarly send athletes to two different locales, as several athletes will head to the Tennessee Invitational in Knoxville on Apr. 4-5, and many athletes will head to the Tornado Classic in Brevard, N.C. on Apr. 4.
