Jones collects AAC Track Athlete of the Week honor

WALESKA, Ga. (April 1, 2024) - Aaron Jones is the Appalachian Athletic Conference Men's Track Athlete of the Week, the league announced on Monday.

The Johnson City, Tenn., senior collected an NAIA 'A' Standard in the 10,000 at the Raleigh Relays.

Jones posted a time of 29:47.61, which ranks as the second-fastest time in the NAIA in the event. He also secured a personal best and the Milligan program record.

This is Jones' first conference outdoor weekly award. In the fall, he was named the Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week once.

Milligan returns to action on Friday and Saturday at the Tennessee Invite in Knoxville, Tenn.
