Woodall Recognized as USTFCCCA NAIA Male Athlete of the Week
NEW ORLEANS, La. — On Monday afternoon, the United States Track & Field and Cross Coutry Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) revealed the winners of this week's National Athletes of the Week. At the NAIA level in the men's side, Bryn Woodall was named the recipient of the plaudits after his record-breaking week at the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Chanpionships.
Woodall posted victories in the 1000m (2:23.74, facility, meet, NAIA records), 3000m (8:16.43, meet record, NAIA "A" standard), Mile (4:14.90, NAIA "B" standard) and contributed to the Distance Medley Relay in which he ran the Mile again at 4:16.94.
It is Woodall's second time this indoor season being named the USTFCCCA NAIA Male Athlete of the Week.
