Track & Field tunes up before AAC Championships
JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (February 5, 2022) – The Milligan University indoor track & field team sent a small number of competitors across town to compete in the Buccaneer Invitational on Saturday. The Buffs recorded individuals results among a deep field of competitors across the collegiate landscape.
JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (February 5, 2022) – The Milligan University indoor track & field team sent a small number of competitors across town to compete in the Buccaneer Invitational on Saturday. The Buffs recorded individuals results among a deep field of competitors across the collegiate landscape.
Evan Henson took eighth (of 48) with an indoor PB (8:55.57) in the men's 3k. Graydon Hull also logged a personal best in the event (9:48.98).
Rebecca Glover ran a personal best 2:26.04 in the 800 to finish 10th out of 52 runners. Alex Windham also notched a 10th-place showing in the men's 800 in 2:00.49, a season best.
Keaton Hincher took 22nd out of 61 competitors in the men's mile with an indoor debut time of 4:32.40.
Corey Greeson and Kade Hoilman picked up where they left off yesterday as the duo notched PRs in the shot put. Greeson threw 12.34 meters and Hoilman measured at 12.20 meters as both finished in the top half of the 42-man field.
Milligan turns its attention to the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Championships Feb. 17-18.
