Will Stockley named AAC Track Athlete of the Week for third consecutive week

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (February 1, 2022) – Milligan University grad student Will Stockley was named the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men’s Track Athlete of the Week for the third time in as many weeks, the league announced on Tuesday.

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (February 1, 2022) – Milligan University grad student Will Stockley was named the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Track Athlete of the Week for the third time in as many weeks, the league announced on Tuesday.

Stockley topped a field of 48 runners in the mile at the VMI Winter Relays for the No. 12 Buffs on Saturday. He ran 4:12.87, the top time in the AAC this season and the No. 8 time nationally.

Stockley has recorded a national qualifying time in four different events in 2021-22 and ranks top-10 in the country in the mile and 3k.

Milligan track returns to action this weekend at the ETSU Buccaneer Indoor Track & Field Invitational.
