35 Buffs earn AAC All-Academic in track & field
The Appalachian Athletic Conference announced Thursday the All-Academic Teams for men’s and women’s outdoor track & field. Milligan College led the way with 20 men and 15 women making each list.
MILLIGAN COLLEGE, Tenn. (April 9, 2020) – The Appalachian Athletic Conference announced Thursday the All-Academic Teams for men's and women's outdoor track & field. Milligan College led the way with 20 men and 15 women making each list.
Representing Milligan's men: senior Cory Aulich, sophomore Eli Baldy, junior Tyler Bates, junior Andrew Burton, senior Isaac Carson, sophomore Jake Crow, senior Tons Ferguson, sophomore Evan Henson, junior Cameron Higgins, sophomore Graydon Hull, junior Alex Mortimer, senior Seth Nicol, sophomore Caleb Peterson, sophomore Ethan Pfister, junior Ronan Philippot, sophomore Pablo Rivas, sophomore Skylan Stephens, junior Tim Thacker, senior Jarad Turpen and senior Sam Wehner.
Representing Milligan's women: senior Hannah Bell, sophomore Ali Burns, sophomore Maci Cloninger, sophomore Avery DeWolf, junior Amy Ferguson, senior Katlyn Haas, sophomore Halie Hawkins, junior Kristin Kumbera, sophomore Gabrielle Mardis, sophomore Kelsey Mowrey, sophomore Jemimah Ndune, sophomore Bekah Owen, junior Maci Shell, senior Erica Stone and sophomore Kiley Wood.
Additionally, T. Ferguson and Stone, both seniors, represented Milligan on the AAC Champions of Character teams.
To be eligible for the All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must carry a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.25 and be a sophomore, junior, senior or graduate student.
