Ryan Thomas tabbed as AAC Men’s Tennis Player of the Week

WALESKA, Ga. (April 3, 2023) – Milligan University junior Ryan Thomas was honored as the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Tennis Player of the Week on Monday afternoon.

Thomas went unbeaten in singles and doubles action this past week as the Buffs went 3-0 in AAC matches against Point, Johnson and SCAD Atlanta last week.

Thomas earned a pair of singles wins at the No. 3 spot and one victory at fourth singles last week. He teamed up with Derian Janeke at No. 2 doubles to go 3-0 on the week.

With the three AAC victories, the Buffs moved to 10-10 on the season and 6-3 in conference play. It is the winningest season for Milligan men's tennis since 2016.

The Buffs wrap up conference play today at Union and compete in the AAC Tournament next week.
